Good grief! There is another person trying to sell info on how to get a "discount" on AG dolls, but this time it's an auction with a starting bid of 99 cents. The interesting thing is that they are a brand new seller, which makes me wonder if it's the same seller as the other one.

I think it is very tongue in cheek and just for a laugh. I personally think the seller has made a bet with her friends that they could sell almost anything including a link to a sale page.
It's cheeky but harmless

I think we should email the seller with lots of emails that way no one will fall victim to the scam

I pm'd jerseycow with the second auction information.
There is now a THIRD auction, which is CLEARLY giving away the information in their listing.
I noticed this morning that the first auction closed down!!

The one I found is for the free shipping code--- "American Girl freeship code" and you should find it. That seller has three auctions---all for coupons or links---no REAL STUFF!! She says she checks the free shipping code to make sure it is still working, before she sends it on to the buyer who pays her .99 for it. That's a heck of a lot of trouble to make a few cents---and rotten to boot! The seller has good feedback-- the auction is for 7 days and started yesterday. She obviously doesn't know the free shipping code ends tomorrow (unless she has others that will still work!). AMAZING!

The person selling this info for $1.99 (the first one we started talking about) ended her auction -- guess she was sick of all the "nastygrams"!

My mother sent me the auction link!
This is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The nerve of some people!
The thing that really gets me is that something like this could hurt all of us!!!!
We all use the codes responsibly without taking out an ad in the newspaper !
I hope the madness stops!
